Hello GPT-3!

AI is one of the most exciting advances in technology, and its potential to revolutionize our lives is immense. It has already begun to make its mark in various industries, from healthcare to finance, and its applications are only beginning to be explored.

One of the most promising uses for AI is in writing content. And tools like jasper.ai, chibi.ai and others are accelerating the shift from human-written content to ai-written-based-on-human-idea content.

Instead of thinking about how to structure the text, find the right worlds and tone, human beings would focus on generating ideas and communicating between each other. So cool!

But it would be different

Could you imagine the future, there all communication online between humans would be written by AI?

Let’s try with an example.

Prompt:

Let’s start with some clarification for open AI.

You are the CEO of a startup. You are friendly, sharp and a little bit bossy.

You got the email:

And here is an actual email, we need to generate the response for.

Hi

Of course, the underwriting team gave the following reasons for the decline: From reading the website, it sounds like they offer the option to other businesses to integrate their crypto purchase option on their website and accept crypto payments.

The AML policy has a list of the possible business activities for their partners which includes Crypto Exchange, NFT, Trade (whatever that means), real estate (classified as high risk), auctions (classified as high risk), finance (classified as high risk), accounting (classified as high risk). This is very concerning as most of these verticals are high-risk for us and the rest are prohibited.

It’s assumed from the website they want to use card processing on their checkout for end users when they buy it at the website of the partners of Swipelux. Considering that the partners will not be actual merchants of (hiden) and no due diligence will be performed on them on our side this business model is too high risk for us.

The task for GPT-3 would be:

Write a response:

And we got:

Thank you for providing this information.

I understand that there are certain risks associated with the business model of our partners, but I am confident that these risks can be mitigated. We have taken steps to ensure that all of our partners adhere to our anti-money laundering (AML) policies and have implemented a number of procedures to ensure that our customers are protected.

We are committed to working with our partners to ensure that they operate according to the highest standards and that our customers are protected. If there are any additional steps we can take to alleviate the risks associated with our partners, please let us know. We appreciate your feedback and look forward to continuing to work together.

Best regards, [Your Name]

Not bad. Without the full history of the emails, this is a well-put but watered-down response.

But there is a problem – in case I’m constantly writing the responses with this tool, I need some “personal touch”.

Let’s try to change the prompts from

You are friendly, sharp and a little bit bossy.

You are mostly friendly, very very sharp and bossy.

The generated response would be completely different:

Dear [Name],

Thank you for providing the reasons for the decline of our application. I understand that our business model is deemed to be too high risk for Paysafe.

However, I would like to point out that our partners are highly vetted and each transaction is monitored for suspicious activity. We have an extensive AML policy in place that ensures all transactions are compliant with industry regulations. Additionally, our partners are well-versed in the crypto space and have the experience and knowledge to properly handle the transactions.

We also offer a robust customer service team to provide support to our partners and customers. This team is available to answer any questions and help resolve any issues.

We would like to discuss ways to mitigate the risk and move forward with the application. Please let me know how we can proceed.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Sincerely,
[Your Name]

If we would use different qualities, the response would change the tone

You are authoritative, aristocratic and a little bit gallant.

This would shape the response into more “authoritative” one.

Dear [Name],

Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I understand that the underwriting team has declined Swipelux’s integration request due to the risk associated with the activities it intends to offer.

However, I believe that we should be open to exploring ways to mitigate the risks involved with this integration. I believe that if we take the time to understand their business model, we may be able to find a solution that works for both parties.

I would appreciate it if you and the underwriting team could look into this further.

Thank you for your time.

Sincerely,
[Your Name]

The interesting part is, that we can not only use adjective like “a little bit”, “very” but even quantitative representation of this quality like:

You are friendly (5/10), sharp(4/10) and a little bit bossy(3/10).

Would generate:

Dear [Name],

Thank you for your email regarding the reasons for the decline of our application. I understand the concerns outlined in the AML policy, but we believe that our business model is sound and secure. We have put in place measures to ensure that all of our partners are properly vetted and that any transactions taking place on their sites are compliant with the applicable regulations. Additionally, we have implemented safeguards to protect against any potential fraud or misuse of our services.

We would like to work with you to address the concerns you have raised. If you could provide us with any additional information or feedback, we would be happy to discuss how we can further strengthen our security measures.

We are eager to have a successful partnership with you and look forward to hearing from you.

Sincerely,
[Your Name]

and

You are the CEO of a startup. You are friendly (8/10), sharp(9/10) and a little bit bossy(1/10).

would generate different response:

Dear [Name],

Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I understand your concerns regarding the risk associated with our partners’ business activities.

I have taken a close look at the list of possible business activities and am confident that we can mitigate the risk by implementing stringent AML policies. We will thoroughly vet our partners to ensure that they are compliant with all applicable laws and regulations. Additionally, we will develop a process for monitoring the activities of our partners to ensure that they remain compliant.

We want to ensure that we are providing a safe, secure, and compliant service to our partners and customers. I am confident that by implementing these additional safeguards, we can ensure that we are providing a secure platform for our partners and customers.

Thank you for bringing this to my attention and for your continued support.

Sincerely,
[Your Name]
